Having voiced the character in the Oscar-winning animated blockbuster Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Nicolas Cage brings the pulp-inspired Spider-Man Noir to live-action this May with the launch of Spider-Noir, a new series from Sony Television, Prime Video and MGM+, and following on from this week’s first-look images, we now have a trailer for the Marvel Comics adaptation, which – like the show – is available in noirish black-and-white and true-hue color; watch them both below…
Spider-Noir is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. Spider-Noir tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero.
Joining Nicolas Cage in the cast of Spider-Noir are Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson, while guest stars include Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.
Spider-Noir will premiere on Prime Video on May 27th as a binge release.
