Nicolas Cage is Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Noir series first look

February 11, 2026 by Ricky Church

Fans now have their first look at Sony, MGM+ and Amazon’s upcoming Spider-Noir live-action series starring Nicolas Cage reprising his Spider-Verse role. The images give us our first look at several characters, including Cage’s Ben Reilly out of costume and Lamorne Morris’ Robbie Robertson. Check them out below…

Spider-Noir follows Ben Reilly, a private investigator who was once New York’s only superhero known as The Spider until he stepped away from his masked alter-ego following a personal tragedy. A new and deadly mystery forces him to become The Spider once again in order to solve the case.

The photos give us a look at the 1930s-noir influenced setting with Morris’ Robertson, Li Jun Li’s Cat Hardy and Karen Rodriguez’s Janet. Their character descriptions read:

“Robbie Robertson is a dedicated journalist trying to make it in 1930s New York with the odds stacked against him. He is willing to do whatever is necessary for his career as well as his best friend, Ben.”

“Cat Hardy is the star attraction at the premiere nightclub in New York. It may seem like she is always looking out for herself, but the truth is more complex than meets the eye.”

“Janet Smart is the scrappy, and loyal secretary to Ben Reilly. She wants to help her boss and his small business become successful, and she has zero problem speaking truth to power.”

Spider-Noir tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), an aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.

Spider-Noir sees Nicolas Cage joined in the cast by Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.

Spider-Noir will premiere this spring airing on MGM+ in the US and on Prime Video internationally.
