Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth series releases teaser trailer online

September 3, 2024 by Ricky Church

Fans of the Alien franchise should prepare themselves to see more of the Xenomorphs as FX has released the first teaser trailer for Noah Hawley’s upcoming Alien: Earth TV series as the fearsome Xenomorphs arrive on the planet.

The teaser was shown for select audiences of Alien: Romulus in theaters, but has now been released wide now that the latest Alien film has been out in cinemas for several weeks. Alien: Earth has been in development for quite some time, beginning production last year before halting due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Production finally wrapped in July, where Hawley teased he wanted to “give something special” to the fans for the franchise’s first TV series.

The logline of Alien: Earth reads: “When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.” Watch the trailer here…
