One Piece Season 2 adds David Dastmalchian, Julia Rehwald, Rob Colletti, and more

June 27, 2024 by EJ Moreno

Meet the new adventurers for Netflix’s second season of One Piece.

Little is known about One Piece Season 2, although it is expected to tell the tale of the Arabasta Saga, which takes the Straw Hat Pirates on their first adventure in the Grand Line.

Throughout the week, Netflix introduced new characters and villains through various castings.

Callum Kerr (Monarch) has been cast as Smoker, Julia Rehwald (Fear Street) as Tashigi, Rob Colletti (The Many Saints of Newark) as Wapol, and Ty Keogh (24 Hours To Live) as Dalto. We’ll also see Daniel Lasker playing Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson being cast as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn being set as Miss Valentine, and David Dastmalchian taking on the role of Mr. 3.

It’s also reported that Werner Coetser and Brendan Murray have joined the show as Dorry and Brogy, the two captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Clive Russell is set to play Crocus, a lighthouse keeper and doctor.

One Piece follows the otherworldly adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his pirate crew. They explore exotic islands and endless oceans, searching for the ultimate treasure, “One Piece,” to become the next Pirate King.

Netflix is not done adding more actors to the series—additional cast and roles will be revealed later.

Season one of One Piece is currently streaming on Netflix.
