One Piece: World Seeker release delayed until 2019

September 11, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced that they have delayed the release of One Piece: World Seeker until 2019 in order to provide enough time to give the game an extra polish.  This will be a huge disappointment to many One Piece fans, however, an extra polish is always well appreciated and its launch next year will also coincide with the One Piece Big Projects 20th anniversary celebration.

“One Piece: World Seeker is the most ambitious One Piece game ever. We’re aware of the huge potential for the game and want to ensure we match fans’ expectations”, said Koji Nakajima Chief Producer at Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc). “As such, we took the difficult decision to move the release date and use additional development time to create the best game possible”.

With One Piece: World Seeker players jump straight into the shoes of our favourite pirate Luffy as he fights his way across a huge island alongside his ever loyal Straw Hat crew.

Discover an all-new ONE PIECE adventure in ONE PIECE: World Seeker! Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew are back in an all-new Epic story that puts players’ into Luffy’s shoes, as he battles and explores an expansive and seamless world. Open landscapes provide many paths for players to experience Luffy’s gum-gum abilities and swing into action. ONE PIECE: World Seeker is the biggest ONE PIECE game to date!
