Operation H.E.A.T. event underway for War Thunder

An August of excitement is underway for War Thunder players as the Operation H.E.A.T. event brings six new and exclusive vehicles, camouflages, decals and plenty of in-game tasks.  The event is underway now and will run until 26th August.

There’s a variety of exclusive new war machines of tactical significance that will be available during this event, these are:

  • BT-7 (F-32) – This light tank is equipped with a 76 mm F-32 tank cannon.  This vehicle has high speed and good maneuverability.
  • Bf 110 C-6 heavy fighter – The C-6 modification of Germany’s “Zerstörer” series is fitted with a heavy cannon.  Will be ideal for use against both ground and large air targets.
  • P-59A Airacomet – This is the first American jet fighter, although never used in combat it it can hold it’s own against other rank IV.
  • AUBL/74 HVG – Has light armour and a high-velocity 60mm cannon featuring a two-plane stabiliser.
  • River-class Frigate – The Royal Navy’s pride of escorting convoys and supporting the D-Day landings during World War 2 comes with cannons ranging from 20mm and 120mm.
  • Shiratsuyu-class Destroyer Yūdachi features five 127mm primary cannons and two four-barreled torpedo launchers.

To participate in the event and get access to the exclusive vehicles, players can participate in Random Battles and earn “Marks of Distinction” for tankers, pilots and captains.  Earn enough of these and unlock the vehicles and more.
