Operation White Noise marks the finale to Year 2 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege

November 4, 2017 by Andrew Newton

With Year 2 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege coming to a close Ubisoft have revealed a South Korean theme with Operation White Noise.  Ubisoft also announced that there would be more exciting things to come in Year 3, so that’s something to look forward to.  Following on from the previous epic expansion, Blood Orchid, Operation White Noise includes three new operatives, a new map and more weapons to play with.

Operation White Noise takes players to an observation tower that sits high above the skyline of South Korea’s capital, Seoul.  I’m imagining (and hoping) that the views from this will be stunning.  As well as a stunning new map there will be three new operators to join the Rainbow Team including two attackers and one defender.  Two of the new Operatives come from the Korean 707th Special Mission Battalion whilst our third operative is a new Polish Operator from the GROM Unit.  As usual, new operators will have their own skills and abilities that can be used to get an edge in combat.

Those who like their weaponry will have to make more room in their as lockers as Operation White Noise introduces more weapons for players to choose from when planning on the destruction of their opponents.

More details on the new operators and map will be be revealed in the near future.
