Paul McGann returning for new Doctor Who – The Eighth Doctor Adventure in November

The Eighth Doctor makes a return this November in Doctor Who – The Eighth Doctor Adventures: Causeway, a new full-cast audio box set from Big Finish. Paul McGann returns as the ever-curious Time Lord, joined by India Fisher as Edwardian adventurer Charley and Jaye Griffiths as the fearless Regency aristocrat Audacity. Together, the trio heads off on a new round of adventures across space, time and Copenhagen?

The Eighth Doctor is back and he’s heading straight into danger with his time-travelling friends Charley Pollard and Lady Audacity Montague.  From the deep void of space to a suspiciously old-fashioned business operation in Denmark, something strange is chasing them. And whatever it is, it keeps whispering one word: “Causeway.”

The set includes Lost Amongst the Stars by Rochana Patel and the two-part The Time You Never Had by Tim Foley which features the return of Richard Hope, known for playing Silurian characters in the TV series. There’s also a rich supporting cast too, including Nicholas Khan, Andrew Wincott, Bee Menabny, Robert Whitelock, Obioma Ugoala, Henrietta Wolfmountain and Poppy Miller.

Producer David Richardson, commented on the mystery that’s been quietly brewing across recent adventures. “The word ‘Causeway’ has been seeded for a while now,” he says. “Now, the Doctor and friends will finally uncover what it all means… and for one of them, everything changes.”

Doctor Who – The Eighth Doctor Adventures: Causeway is available to pre-order now for £19.99 (download only) or £24.99 (CD box set + download). But be quick, the collector’s edition box set is limited to just 1500 copies.
