Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid trailer reveals first batch of season pass content

July 11, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Hasbro, nWay, and Lionsgate Games have released the first two Season One characters for their fan favorite fighting game, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.  These new characters, plus a third character coming soon, have been introduced with a new trailer that can be seen below….

These two new playable characters are the original Gold Zeo Ranger, Trey of Triforia and Jen Scotts, Time Force’s Pink Ranger.  For those who don’t know the characters too well, Trey is an alien from the planet Triforia who came to earth to help the Zeo Rangers battle the Machine Empire, and Jen Scott took the role of leader of the Time Force when the Red Time Force Ranger, was killed by an escaping criminal named Ransik.

The third character coming soon is the self-proclaimed “Emperor of Evil,” Lord Zedd.  This evil-doer has conquered much of the galaxy but left the Earth for Rita Repulsa to conquer, when she failed to conquer it Zedd came to finish the job.

Also included in the fist content pack is a new skin for Jason Lee Scott, the Red Dragon Shield skin.  This skin refers to the time Jason inherited the Dragon Shield and Dragon Dagger and was able to lead the other Rangers in the fight against Lord Drakkon.

This first content pack is available as part of the full Season One Pass, alternatively players can purchase each individual character separately.
