Prime 1 Studio’s Godzilla vs Shimo collectible statue from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire revealed

May 3, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

In celebration of both the 70th anniversary of the King of the Monsters and the 10th anniversary of the MonsterVerse, Prime 1 Studio has unveiled the first of three collectible statues from last year’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, depicting Godzilla vs Shimo. Limited to 500 pieces, it is available to pre-order now, priced at $2,299; take a look here…

The surface world’s reigning king, Godzilla, and the legendary ice beast, Shimo—this statue captures the climactic clash between these two Titans, embodying their immense scale, raw power, and otherworldly beauty. Locked in a stance of unyielding tension, their confrontation is rendered as symbolically as an ancient mural or a royal crest. Their difference in size has also been faithfully reproduced. The setting has been relocated from Rio de Janeiro, as seen in the film, to the Hollow Earth. Towering cliffs and sky-piercing crystals form a dramatic and dynamic base layout.

While drawing inspiration from the film, the sculpt and paintwork take an imaginative turn. Godzilla’s chiseled physique and Shimo’s majestic white silhouette have been intricately detailed down to each individual scale. The ancient ruins beneath them exude a weathered, timeworn presence. LEDs are embedded throughout the Titans and the base, illuminating them with glowing pink and blue—each representing their elemental power—alongside the mystical shimmer of the crystal.

This statue also includes swappable parts for Godzilla: a lowered arm pose ready to strike, and a roaring pose in full intimidation. Mix and match to evoke a wide range of emotions. And in this bonus version, the exploration vehicle “H.E.A.V.” is included as a display piece that can be placed beside the Titans. A symbol of humanity’s gaze—your gaze—added to the scene.

This latest entry in the Monsterverse franchise follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own. The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.

Directed by Godzilla vs Kong‘s Adam Wingard, the blockbuster sequel stars Rebecca Hall (The Night House), Brian Tyree Henry (Bullet Train), Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast), Kaylee Hottle (Godzilla vs. Kong), Alex Ferns (Chernobyl) and Fala Chen (Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).
