Production wraps on Terminator: Genisys

It was rumoured about a month ago that the thought-to-be-titled Terminator: Genesis was going to be renamed to simply Terminator. But now that filming has finished and the movie enters post-production, we can  confirm the movie is actually titled Terminator: Genisys.

Genisys, eh?

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who reprises his role as the T-800 for this movie, sent out an image on his Instagram account to let the world knew that filming was done. He wrote:

“Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup – we couldn’t have done it without you. I can’t wait to see our finished project and I know we’ll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I’ll be back.”

Directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World), Terminator: Genisys sees Arnold Schwarzenegger joined by Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Jai Courtney (A Good Day to Die Hard), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man), Courtney B. Vance (Law & Order: Criminal Intent), Byung-hun Lee (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games), Michael Gladis (Mad Men), Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) and Douglas Smith (Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters).
