Punky Brewster revival gets first trailer and character posters

February 3, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Peacock has released a trailer and batch of characters posters for Punky Brewster, the upcoming continuation of the 80’s sitcom which sees Soleil Moon Frye return to reprise her role as a now grown-up Punky raising her three children as a single mother; take a look here…

In this continuation of the iconic 80s sitcom about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad, Punky is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self.

Along with Soleil Moon Frye, the series sees Cherie Johnson return in the role of Cherie, alongside series newcomers Quinn Copeland as Izzy, Freddie Prinze Jr. as Travis, Punky’s ex-husband, Noah Cottrell as Diego, Oliver De Los Santos as Daniel, and Lauren Lindsey Donzis as Hannah.

Punky Brewster arrives on Peacock on February 25th.
