If you kept up to date with all of the marketing material for Justice League and have now seen the final film, chances are you’ll have noticed that a couple of Victor Stone’s pre-Cyborg scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.
In addition to the above shot, the trailers also featured a glimpse of Victor playing football, and it seems those weren’t the only two scenes of the character pre-accident that were shot for the movie.
“There were some things that you’ll probably end up seeing later on, that didn’t make it into this version of the film,” actor Ray Fisher tells Gamespot. “There’s a scene with Victor Stone, when he still was Victor Stone, and his mother, that was really special to shoot.”
Fisher also spoke about the changes to the film as a result of the reshoots, stating that: “You’re shooting and testing, and when you’re putting it together, you’re seeing how cohesive you can make the story. Ultimately this is a team story, and, while there is some Cyborg material that we don’t see here, I’m just happy that my teammates get to shine as well.”
