Rebel Wilson joins Night at the Museum 3

January 10, 2014 by admin

Deadline reports that actress of the moment Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect) has joined the third instalment of the Night at the Museum franchise. She looks set to join Ben Stiller (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), Robin Williams (Lee Daniels’ The Butler), Owen Wilson (The Internship), Steve Coogan (Philomena) and Ricky Gervais (Muppets Most Wanted) in the cast of the comedy sequel.

The series seemed to lose its breath by the second film but Shawn Levy has had an impressive run in recent years and if he can make it anywhere as enjoyable as Real Steel, Night at the Museum 3 could be a pleasant surprise. The film is currently scheduled for release on Christmas Day in North America and Boxing Day here in the UK.
