Release date announced for Ys: Memories of Celceta

June 30, 2018 by Andrew Newton

XSEED Games have revealed that Nihon Falcom Corp’s fast paced, strategic action game, Ys: Memories of Celceta, will arrive on Steam, GOG and The Humble Store for PC on the 25th July.  Previously released on the PS Vita, the PC Edition will feature numerous enhancements including improved visuals, HD resolutions and a digital PDF version of ‘Adol’s Travel Journal’ which was included in the PS Vita Limited Edition.  We have the release date announcement trailer for you below…

Ys: Memories of Celceta takes players back to the land of Celceta, the setting of the Japanese cult favorite Ys IV, where they will follow the adventures of Adol Christin who wakes up to find himself in a bustling frontier town called Casnan.  When he joins a mysterious information dealer on a quest to rid a mine of monsters, Adol discovers he is an accomplished swordsman and his actions attract the attention of a Romun Army general.

Players will set out on an adventure through the land of Calceta in search of any clues that may help Adol recover his lost memories but as he travels they must decide who Adol can trust.

As well as the main story, Ys: Memories of Celceta will feature an enhanced take on the fan favorite Time Attack and Boss Rush modes either solo or with a full party of characters.

Ys: Memories of Celceta will be available digitally on the 25th July.
