Rumour: Trigon to appear in live-action Teen Titans series

January 1, 2018 by Gary Collinson

According to TitansPodcast, the demonic Trigon could be set to make an appearance in DC’s upcoming live-action Titans series, with the site uncovering a casting breakdown which seems to suggest the Teen Titans villain could be set for a major role in the show’s season finale.

According to the outlet, the show is looking to cast a male in his late 30s-40s, who is described as a charismatic cult leader attempting to reunite his family, and will appear in two episodes before playing a central role in the finale.

Now, it’s possible that the breakdown could refer to a different character entirely, but as the site notes, the official description for Raven made reference to her being “the daughter of a demon”, suggesting that her relationship with Trigon could factor into the show. Further supporting this is the fact that the show is looking to cast Arella, Raven’s biological mother, who was tricked into falling in love with Trigon by the demon.
