Rumours on The Hulk’s involvement in Thor: Ragnarok

January 25, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Geek.com has been steadily dropping Marvel rumours over the past few days, reporting on the villain for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and new team members, as well as Odin’s involvement in Thor: Ragnarok, and Cate Blanchett’s potential role.

Now the site has another rather more detailed rumour on Ragnarok and the Hulk’s involvement, suggesting that the 2017 threequel will be providing a Planet Hulk adaptation of sorts.

So, according to their latest report, Loki and Hela will banish Thor from Asgard, with the God of Thunder then ending up on a gladiatorial planet, where he runs through all of his opponents before coming up against the champion… who is none other than The Incredible Hulk.

The report goes on to claim that Jade Giant has remained in Hulk form since the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, although the Bruce Banner persona slips through after recognising Thor, with the two then setting off on their buddy road movie adventure.

As a handy get out clause, the post also suggests that the above could change given that the film is yet to finalise its shooting script, although you’d have to imagine they’re far enough into development now to have locked down The Hulk’s introduction.

What do you make of these rumours? Let us know in the comments below…
