I Eat Poop: A Dung Beetle Story is a delightfully gross picture book by Mark Pett, published in October 2021 by Roaring Brook Press. It follows Dougie, a dung beetle, loves eating poop—a habit most of his schoolmates would consider revolting. As mysterious disappearances begin to plague the town, Dougie and his whole community discover what makes them different.
Pett is an award-winning author and illustrator of I’m Not Millie!, This Is My Book, Lizard From the Park, The Boy and the Airplane, The Girl and the Bicycle, and The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes. His books have sold over 500,000 copies. Stay tuned to Flickering Myth for more news on I Eat Poop.
