Ahead of its release this September, a poster and trailer have arrived online for the French ‘screenlife’ action thriller The Pilot.
Written and directed by Paul Doucet, the film stars Hugo Becker as Daniel, a drone pilot in Mali that is tasked with tracking down the head of a jihadist network but finds himself in a terrible dilemma when is family is kidnapped by terrorists and threatened with execution unless he meets their demands. THE PILOT tells the story of Daniel — a drone pilot in Mali who conducts a military operation for which he is tracking down the head of a jihadist network with his team. Daniel finds himself in the middle of a terrible dilemma when he needs to make a choice between his duty, the protection of his men in the field, and his family, taken as hostages by terrorists and might get executed if he refuses to cooperate.
The Pilot arrives on digital platforms and DVD on September 12th.
