Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta to appear at the Anime Expo 2018

Japanese veteran videogame composer Hiroki Kikuta, best known for his work on the beloved Super Nintendo RPG Secret of Mana, will be Lab Zero Games’s guest of honor at this year’s Anime Expo in Los Angeles.  Kikuta will be taking part in multiple panels, interviews and autograph sessions during the expo and wing a behind the scenes look into his creative process.  Attendees will also be treated to world premieres of music from both Lab Zero Games’ Indivisible and RosePortal Games’ Unraveled.

Hiroki Kikuta’s itinerary at Anime Expo 2018 is as follows:

  • An Evening With Lab Zero – The Latest On Indivisible, Skullgirls and More!
    Date: Thursday, July 5, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
    Location: JW Marriott – Live Programming 2 (Platinum Ballroom)
    Description: Want to know what’s going on with Lab Zero? Join this panel and check out our latest news, updates on game development and ask the team questions. Joining us will be legendary game music composer, Hiroki Kikuta!
  • Autograph Session #1
    Date: Friday, July 6, 12:20 pm – 1:40 pm
    Location: Industry Autographs, Kentia Hall
  • Beyond Mana: Composer Hiroki Kikuta Goes Indie
    Date: Saturday, July 7, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
    Location: LACC – Live Programming 5 (404 AB)
    Description: You may love his Secret of Mana soundtrack, but Kikuta-san has recently worked on a number of indie titles you may have missed. Learn about his partnership with Scarlet Moon Productions and hear samples of and get behind-the-scenes insights into his latest music. Bring questions for a brief Q&A too!
