Indie developer Mutiny Software has announced that their medieval action RTS Sellswords: Ashen Company will be arriving on Steam Early Access on 26th April. This RTS will put players in the role of a mercenary captain to fulfill contracts and engage in massive battles.
Sellswords: Ashen Company provides a fine blend of real time strategy and third person melee combat and will see players become the captain of a company of mercenaries. As captain, players will be able to build up and manage their band of mercenaries, travel the world looking for contracts to bring in money and take part in huge battles with thousands of soldiers.
The game will start off in Early Access with the following features:
- Custom Battle game mode.
- Battle Mode: Land Battle.
- 3 Factions: Pratoria, Sakharia and Woltania.
- 2 Unit Types: infantry and missile.
- 3 Battle Maps to fight over.
There will be updates during the Early Access phase, these will include the addition of new units, including cavalry and pikemen, a Siege Battle battle mode, a campaign mode and more.
Sellswords : Ashen Company is a medieval Action RTS. As a captain of a mercenary company, you shall travel the world seeking for contracts, manage your company, and take part in massive battles. All of this in a unique blend between Real Time Strategy and Third Person Melee Combat.
Sellswords: Ashen Company will be available on Steam Early Access this Friday.
