Sharon Stone set for new Euphoria season

February 16, 2025 by EJ Moreno

The acting icon Sharon Stone is no stranger to highly dramatic situations in her work, but entering the world of Euphoria might be her wildest yet.

Per THR, Stone is in talks to join the Sam Levinson and HBO series led by the award-winning Zendaya. Her potential role is still undisclosed at the time of writing.

This casting news comes shortly after Euphoria announced its new cast members, including Marshawn Lynch and Rosalía. HBO has not confirmed this latest casting news.

Stone gained worldwide fame for her role in Basic Instinct, where her portrayal of Catherine Tramell. As that film turned her into a household name, she also starred in Casino (1995), for which she won a Golden Globe and earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actress, as well as Total Recall, The Quick and the Dead, and Catwoman. She can next be seen alongside Bob Odenkirk in Nobody 2, set to premiere in theaters on Aug. 15, 2025.

Season three will feature a time jump and is now entering production in Los Angeles. Returning stars include Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, and Colman Domingo.

The new season of Euphoria will likely air in 2026.
