April 29, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Sideshow Collectibles has revealed its Gladiator Hulk maquette which is inspired by the appearance of the Jade Giant in Planet Hulk. The piece is available to pre-order now, priced at $1,390.00 and is expected to ship some time between October and December of this year; here’s the official promotional images and details…

SUPPORT FLICKERING MYTH: Order via Sideshow Collectibles

Inspired by the iconic Planet Hulk storyline, the Gladiator Hulk Maquette measures a monstrous 26” tall as the jade giant smashes a helpless alien fighter into the dirt of the Sakaarian coliseum. Barbed tentacles and claws are no match for the giant gladiator as he pummels his extraterrestrial enemy into a broken stone pillar on top of the battleground base. His alien enemy features a detailed design, with red textured skin and a multitude of glistening eyes.

The polyresin Gladiator Hulk Maquette is highly detailed with textured skin, intricately sculpted muscles, and a variety of leather and cloth-like costume details. As the champion fighter of Sakaar, the Hulk is covered from head to toe in sculpted gladiator garb, including distressed shoulder armor and a silver spiked helm. Sculpted leather-like straps and sandals cover his massive green physique, while this champion fighter is decorated in bead necklaces and a blue obedience disk embedded in his chest. He has an epic battle mace clutched in one giant green fist, showing the spectators of Sakaar why he’s earned the name World-Breaker.

The Exclusive Edition of the Gladiator Hulk Maquette includes an alternate unhelmeted portrait with an enraged expression. Challenge the Red King and smash all the puny pretenders with this exclusive display option.
