Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition released, Rise of Skywalker DLC dated

EA has announced the digital release of Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition, which brings together a complete collection of customization content along with all past and upcoming free game updates, including the hotly-anticipated Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker content upon its release on December 17th.

The Celebration Edition contains:

  • Base Game – Including all past and upcoming free game updates as they release
  • More than 25 Hero Appearances – Including six Legendary Appearances, plus one Appearance each for Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren inspired by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, coming December 17
  • More than 125 Trooper and Reinforcement Appearances
  • More than 100 Hero and Trooper Emotes and Voice Lines
  • More than 70 Hero and Trooper Victory Poses.

As for the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker content, this is set to include new Hero Appearances for Rey, Kylo Ren and Finn, along with the new jungle planet location seen in the marketing materials for the film, Sith Troopers, First Order Jet Troopers, and Resistance Gunners and Spies. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker sees J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) directing a cast that includes Star Wars veterans Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Greg Grunberg (Snap Wexley), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) as well as new additions Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth), Richard E. Grant (Logan), Dominic Monaghan (Lost), and Keri Russell (The Americans).
