Steam into Germany with the new DLC for Railway Empire

March 3, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Kalypso Media has announced the release of the new Germany DLC pack for their hit rail management simulator Railway Empire.  This new DLC adds a huge amount of new cities and reworked city buildings.  Also released alongside the new DLC is Free Content Update 1.8 which is available now on all platforms.

With the Germany DLC players will be able to extend their railway network through 59 new cities spread throughout the historic country of Germany.  There will be twelve new tradeable goods, including canned kraut and cuckoo clocks, than can be transported, and what better way to transport these new goods than with ten historical engines including the Adler and the Rhein.

Budding conductors will be able to play through a brand new patchwork scenario set between 1850 – 1870 and also try the new concession feature where players will buy concessions to access new building grounds.

The update also provides eight new music tracks to enjoy as players travel on those long journeys through the scenic Germanic countryside.

The eagerly anticipated Railway Empire: Germany DLC finally lets you pioneer the creation and expansion of the Central European railway system. Help the aspiring cities of a divided “patchwork” Germany to thrive economically and improve understanding among nations through border crossing connections.

The Germany DLC is available now.
