Stephen Amell wraps filming on Arrow as series finale date set

Some eight years after he first donned the hood and took to the streets of to hunt down those who’d failed the then-Star City, Stephen Amell has revealed on social media that he’s shot his final scenes for the eighth and final season of The CW’s DC superhero series Arrow.

Meanwhile, as the shortened eighth and final season reaches its midway point, The CW has announced that Arrow will air is series finale ‘Fadeout’ on January 28th 2020 at 9pm, with the episode preceded by a special hour-long preview/celebration of the show.

Although Arrow is coming to an end, the shared Arrowverse that it spawned continues to flourish, with The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman potentially set to be joined by two new shows in Superman & Lois and the Arrow spinoff Green Arrow and the Canaries.
