Survival horror The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication coming in May

April 10, 2024 by Andrew Newton

PQube and Softstar Entertainment have announced that they will be releasing The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication on Steam for PC on 9th May with a console release for Xbox Series X/S Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch later in the year.  This first-person survival horror will whisk gamers away to a Taiwanese university campus where they will experience an unrelenting nightmare.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication takes players through the hauntingly beautiful Wen Hua university as four distinct characters. Navigate the many winding corridors and explore the dark and silent classrooms in an effort to find a way out of the nightmare.  Collect numerous clues, seek out artefacts and items and solve the mind-bending puzzles that will help uncover the conspiracy rooted deep within the university.

Ghosts and formidable spectres roam the university’s corridors in pursuit of those who are still alive. Sounds will echo through the labyrinthine corridors as they hunt their prey but players can make use of the environment to sneak past or flash their lantern to stun the hunters long enough to make an escape.

Features of The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication include:

  • The line between reality and fiction blur when a daring group of film students perform the ‘Carnival of Horror’ within the old campus ‘Da Ren’ building.
  • Explore a haunting university campus and use the school map to discover hidden pathways and escape routes.
  • Outwit and avoid formidable ghostly pursuers in the shadowy corridors and classrooms and survive the night.
  • Play as four different characters and encounter unforgettable personalities, from the bizarre Sergeant Huang to the spine-chilling Mad Ballerina.
  • Gather clues, artefacts and items to discover the secrets that Wen Hua university hides.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication releases on Steam on 9th May and on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, GOG and Epic Games Store later in the year. Physical copies of the upcoming PlayStation 5 edition can be pre-ordered now.
