Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles come to World of Warships: Legends

April 8, 2025 by Andrew Newton

The April updates for Wargaming’s World of Warships: Legends and World of Warships brings a wealth of new content.  Legends sees the arrival of the much beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in a brand-new collaboration, while PC players get new ships, badges and limited-time battle type.  Watch the updates trailers below….

In World of Warships: Legends sees the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles surf their way into the stormy seas with themed Commander guises and new skins in an all new collaboration event.  Players will be able to collect limited-edition ‘Pizza Time’ crates, with two available for free by completing the new Turtle Power! Mission and battling through the Dragon’s Voyage campaign during the update.

This new update also brings War Tales, a brand-new PvE game mode with teams of three to five players working together to achieve objectives using Tier III vessels and above.  There are three War Tales available, each with unique missions to complete, including escorts and securing a control point.

Players will also have the opportunity to complete the Hindenburg Marathon and collect the special currency known as Ship Parts in order to receive the main reward of the German Legendary Tier cruiser Hindenburg.  Earn these Ship Parts by completing activities, the main campaign, bonuses through Store purchases and weekly assignments.

For World of Warships, the April update brings a new Dockyard, with two ships up for grabs.  Players will be able to complete 20 construction phases to gain the German Tier IX Premium heavy cruiser Blücher, which boasts highly accurate shots and armour piercing shells that come equipped with increased penetration, improved ricochet angles and flat ballistics.  On this way to this seemingly lofty goal, players can complete the first eight Dockyard phases to unlock the Tier VII Commonwealth light cruiser Gambia, with its high explosive shells and Short Burst Smoke Generator.

New Efficiency Badges have been added, allowing players to show off their battle skills. These can be earned by completing Random Battles.  There are four tiered Efficiency Badges to display on the ships in the player’s profile summary and the highest achieved will be displayed.

Finally, the Unbreakable Line battle type arrives, with a respawning feature for players to enjoy.  Until 15th May, players in Tier VIII-IX battleships, cruisers and destroyers can partake in 7 vs. 7 skirmishes and race to achieve 1000 points to win. These points can be achieved through winning capture points and sinking enemy vessels.  Sunken vessels will respawn to join the fight once again.

Dive back into battle now and try out the new April updates.
