Tees Valley Line DLC arrives for Train Sim World on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam

May 24, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Dovetail Games has released a new route to their hugely realistic Train Sim World.  This latest expansion takes players along the historic Tees Valley Line from Darlington to Saltburn-by-the-Sea. See the sights along the historic birthplace of commercial railway in the new trailer below.

In the Tees Valley Line expansion players will be charged with transporting goods over the aging, out-of-date route that is the Darlington & Stockton Railway.  There’s plenty of stations, signals and scenic countryside reproduced in wonderful detail.

Railway enthusiasts will be able to take control of three British trains, including the BR Class 37 mixed traffic locomotive, the BR Class 08 diesel shunting locomotive and the BR Class 101 Diesel Multiple Unit.  All three use real world data to ensure that their performance has been accurately reproduced.

Tees Valley Line DLC features:

  • A 27 mile route of the scenic Tees Valley Line between Darlington and Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
  • The BR Class 37/5 in BR Trainload Metals Livery.
  • BR Class 08 in BR Corporate Blue ‘Thornaby’ Livery.
  • BR Class 101, 3-car DMU, in BR Corporate Blue & Grey Livery.
  • British Rail Railfreight wagons – HEA Domestic & Industrial Coke Hopper Wagon and the British Rail Railfreight BBA 50-ft. Bogie Steel Carrier Wagon.
  • Highly detailed, feature-rich, driving cabs with accurate true-to-life performance and handling for both locomotives and multiple unit.
  • Authentic and detailed sound recordings that have been recorded from the real locos.
  • Five detailed and engaging scenarios for the route.
  • 100 Collectibles to find including Route Maps, Newspaper Bundles, Electrical Cabinets and Broken Lights.
  • Accessible tutorials for the BR Classes 37/5, 08 and 101 to get you started quickly.
  • Extensive 24-Hour Service Mode Timetable.

The Tees Valley Line DLC is available to buy now on the Xbox Store, Playstation Store and Steam.
