Team APOCA has released a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming sandbox survival shooter The Apocalypse. This new trailer (see below) shows off the game’s combat and variety of weapons, base-building, and for the first time reveals its modular vehicle customisation feature.
The new modular vehicle system allows players to customise their Mobile Base and outfit it with a range of features. Players can kit their Mobile Base out with customisable armour, cargo compartments, mounted turret weapons, and even provide facilities for survivors to live, such as beds and furnaces. Each section of the Mobile Base will have its own function and health, meaning it can be damaged or even destroyed in combat.
Players will be able to adapt vehicles to specific missions or environments and equip them with different tyres, armour plating, and even add trailers for additional storage. A vehicle is the player’s survival hub, and maintaining it is just as important as taking care of themselves.
The Apocalypse will take players into a handcrafted open world filled with a diverse range of biomes, from snowy mountains to ruined cities. Players will explore, scavenge, build, and fight at their own pace, while hordes of undead cause a constant threat.
Thanks to online multiplayer, players can host their own servers and team up with friends to explore and survive the ruined world together, or join PvP-focused servers that bring high-stakes battles between players.
Look out for more coming on The Apocalypse soon.
