A year out from its release, Lionsgate has unveiled the first teaser trailer, poster and promo images for The Hunger Games: Sunrise of the Reaping, the big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ bestselling novel and starring Joseph Zada (We Were Liars) as a young Haymitch Abernathy, portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the original films.
Directed once again by Hunger Games veteran Francis Lawrence, the film sees Zada starring alongside Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Mckenna Grace, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, Kelvin Harrison Jr.; check out the trailer below…
THE HUNGER GAMES: SUNRISE ON THE REAPING revisits the world of Panem and follows young Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) twenty-four years before the events of The Hunger Games, starting on the morning of the reaping of the Fiftieth Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is set for release on November 20th 2026.
