With production underway on The Suicide Squad, the first batch of set photos from the James Gunn-directed DC supervillain team up have surfaced online via Just Jared and give us a look at a number of characters in full costume including returning star Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang) alongside Nathan Fillion, Pete Davidson, Michael Rooker, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, and Mayling Ng.
Character details are yet to be revealed, but it’s though that Fillion is Arm-Fall-Off-Boy, Davidson is Blackguard, Rooker is Javelin, Gunn is Weasal and Ng is Mongal. Check out the set photos via the Twitter link below…

The Suicide Squad is set for release on August 6th 2021 and features a cast that includes the returning Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) alongside new DCEU additions Idris Elba, Peter Capaldi, John Cena, Alice Braga, Nathan Fillion, Taika Waititi, Jennifer Holland, David Dastmalchian, Joaquín Cosío, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Julio Ruiz, Steve Agee, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn.
