Tower of God: New World update brings new teammates

September 13, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Netmarble has released a new update for their collectible RPG, Tower of God: New World.  This new update brings new playable teammates, Ignition weapons and more, plus there are also limited-time events available for players to experience.

The new playable characters available from this latest update include SSR+ [Data] Khun Asensio (Yellow Element, Warrior, Spear Bearer) and SSR [Dark Shadow] Reflejo (Purple Element, Warrior, Fisherman).  Khun Asensio is a member of the Khun family and shares the family traits of blue hair, blue eyes and pale skin.  Known as the Spear Master, Khun Asensio developed and uses the unique ‘Flying Fish Spear Arts’, which allows him to attack enemies with two independent Flying Fish that reduce their Physical Resistance.  The other new teammate is Reflejo, a member of the largest secret criminal syndicate in the Tower.  Whilst his identity is concealed his nature isn’t and he can be ruthless and calculating at times.  Reflejo has a range of special moves that can be useful to players.

The latest update also introduces a Stage Jump feature that allows players to skip through stages quickly for a more fast-paced Adventure challenge.  In addition to this, there are also new Ignition Weapons ‘Alocasia’ and ‘Rafflesia’ that players can equip on their teammates.  These new weapons can be gained by playing the new Floors of Tests.

Until 25th September, there will be a number of events that will give players the chance to earn valuable rewards, these are:

  • Returning Story Event [The Khun Family Fall Festival]: Take part in the special Story and Free stages to earn a variety of rewards, including the Full Moon Chest, SSR+ Tower’s Blessing Break Stone and more. Items earned from this event can be exchanged for the costume of [Assassin] Khyun Kiseia, Radiant Revolution Fragments, Revolution Ores etc.
  • Fall Festival Celebration Check-in Event: Log in to the game for 14 days during the event period to earn multiple rewards such as SSR Soulstones, Expirable Suspendiums, Master Keys and more.
  • Fall Festival Tower Fun Run Event: By completing laps of Tower Fun Run using the Tower Fun Run Dice players can level up the board to gain valuable rewards such as SSR [Dark Shadow] Reflejo, Revolution Ores, Normal Summon Tickets and much more.

Finally, the second season of the Revolution Room Event is open through to 8th October.  Players will be able to climb through the stages in this seasonal dungeon using Blue Orbs and can collect Revolution growth resources and Titles for their ranking rewards.

Tower of God: New World is available to download now from Google Play, the App Store and Google Play Games Beta.
