Trailer for boxing drama Day of the Fight starring Michael C. Pitt and Ron Perlman

August 24, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

A new trailer has arrived online for writer-director Jack Houston’s feature debut, the boxing drama Day of the Fight.

The film stars Michael C. Pitt as Mike, a once renowned boxer, and follows his journey of redemption through his past and present to the day of his first fight since he was released from prison.

Joining Pitt in the cast of the film are Nicolette Robinson, Ron Perlman, Joe Pesci, John Magaro, Steve Buscemi, and Anatol Yusef. Watch the trailer below…

“After a fight for the ages at Madison Square Garden, a twist of events reveals that this day was never really about boxing for Mikey. This is an underdog story built on introspection, self-sacrifice, and forgiveness, which asks the question: how far are we willing to go for the ones we love?”

Day of the Fight is set for release on November 15th.
