Dovetail Games have announced the release of their latest installment in its leading train simulation series, Train Simulator 2018. This latest title in the series caters for everyone with a passion for the railway, from train driver to train collector there’s something here for everyone and it’s now waiting for you on Steam (a physical version is on it’s way). In Train Simulator 2018 players will start their careers driving authentic replicas of a variety of engines across several well known routes. These routes will take players from the Welsh coastline to the Alpine landscape of Austria and include:
- North Wales Coastal – The North Wales Coastal cross border railway will contain many scenic seaside views and provide both local and inter-city services as it traverses the north Welsh coast line.
- Peninsula Corridor – The dynamic and modern peninsula corridor of one of America’s premier commuter railroads that winds its way along the San Francisco Peninsula.
- Mittenwaldbahn – Players can experience the beauty of Mittenwaldbahn as it carves its way through the alpine landscape of western Austria.
As well as driving, sightseeing and collecting, players can also create their own stunning worlds and gameplay scenarios using the game’s route creation feature and then share them with friends and other players.
Train Simulator 2018 is available now on Steam with a boxed product coming soon to retailers.
