Triple Force Friday Star Wars livestream to take place this Thursday

Disney has announced that it is set to kick off a week long countdown to Triple Force Friday this Thursday with a special global livestream event from Pinewood Studios, where Star Wars fans will be able to get our very first look at merchandise from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, The Mandalorian, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

On September 26th at 7pm BST, fans will be able to tune in via the Star Wars YouTube page, where – via live and recorded vignettes, an ensemble of veteran and new Star Wars talent will reveal new products that will roll out globally for Triple Force Friday on October 4th, inspired by the trio of upcoming Star Wars releases.

Star Wars talent participating in the global reveal will include Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Keri Russell (Zorii Bliss), Naomi Ackie (Jannah), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose), Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Gina Carano (Cara Dune in The Mandalorian) and Cameron Monaghan (Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order).

Warwick Davis (Wicket) will host the event, live from Pinewood Studios, which will also include the worldwide premiere of a new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, as well as other special surprises. You can find more information on the official Star Wars site.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set for release on December 19th 2019 in the UK and December 20th 2019 in North America with J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) directing a cast that includes Star Wars veterans Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Greg Grunberg (Snap Wexley), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) as well as new additions Naomi Ackie (Lady Macbeth), Richard E. Grant (Logan), Dominic Monaghan (Lost), and Keri Russell (The Americans).
