Two more names in the mix for Nightwing in Batman vs. Superman

November 10, 2013 by admin

On Friday it was revealed by The Wrap that Girls star Adam Driver is front-runner for the role of Dick Grayson / Nightwing in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman, with the site suggesting that “at least two other actors may in the mix”.

Well, we might now know the identity of two of those names, although unlike the Adam Driver report, this one comes from a unproven source, so should be considered a rumour at this point. Anyway, according to Superhero Movie News, there are six names on the shortlist, with Adam Driver allegedly joined by Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl, Greetings from Tim Buckley) and Ezra Miller (We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Perks of Being a Wallflower).

Batman vs. Superman is set for release on July 17th 2015, with Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne / Batman) joining returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Lawrence Fishburne (Perry White). Meanwhile, Wonder Woman and The Flash are said to be locked in to appear alongside The Dark Knight and Man of Steel, with Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6), Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion) all set to test for the part of the Amazon Princess.
