Warner Bros eyeing Adam Driver for Dick Grayson role in Batman vs. Superman

November 9, 2013 by admin

Over the past couple of months, there’s been whispers that Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight could be joined in Batman vs. Superman by his sidekick Robin / Nightwing, and following a report earlier this week from Latino-Review, The Wrap has now confirmed that Dick Grayson is set to feature in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, with Girls star Adam Driver (Lincoln, Girls) said to be the front-runner for the role, although “at least two other actors may be in the mix”.

While the film carries the title Batman vs. Superman, Warner Bros. seems intent on using the film to really kick-star a much larger DC movie universe; earlier today, it was revealed that both The Flash and Wonder Woman (or at least her alter-ego Diana Prince) will also feature in the film, with Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6),Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion) all due to test for the part of the Amazon Princess. If they keep adding characters,

Batman vs. Superman is set for release on July 17th 2015 with Affleck joined in the cast by returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), and Lawrence Fishburne (Perry White).
