Back in 2010, Wargaming launched the hit tank battle game, World of Tanks. The game went on to gain millions of players worldwide and plenty of praise from the media, streamers and players. To celebrate an amazing 15 years, Wargaming will be inviting all players to join the festivities between 8th and 31st August for gifts, special missions, exclusive drops, and more. Prepare for an exciting month (nearly) of celebrations where the fun kicks off right in the garage, where players can access the Anniversary Album. By logging in daily and opening the special envelopes, players will be able to earn a variety of thrilling rewards. There’s opportunities to relive key moments from the game’s history, and with the special Anniversary Battle Pass Chapter players will be able to earn the brand-new Tier VIII Brennos French heavy tank, along with a special crew from the Garage tankers, and other valuable in-game items.
Additionally, Wargaming are releasing a special range of anniversary merchandise, including socks, notepads, t-shirts and more.
Explosive battles are waiting for players in the Arcade Cabinet, with an Overwhelming Fire fun mode available for two weekends in August. This will be a high-intensity battle with eight unconventional vehicles firing thousands of rounds per minute. There will also be Veteran In-game Bonuses that will allow those players who joined prior to 14th April 2012 to be officially recognised as a veteran and gain the special ’15th Anniversary’ badge. This special badge, when used in battle, can earn all players a +15% boost to the base amount of credits earned.
Players can also watch a series of anniversary streams where players can earn 3D and 2D tank styles, Crew skins, Tier VIII–IX Premium vehicles, and more.
