Warrior director Gavin O’Connor to remake Tell No One

November 22, 2013 by admin

Director of Warrior Gavin O’Connor has signed up to direct the remake of French thriller Tell No One. Based on Guillame Canet’s Ne Le Dis a Personne, the film centres on David Beck, a man who has rebuilt his life following his wife’s murder. However, an email he receives hints towards his wife still being alive.

Previously attached to Tell No One was Ben Affleck who was rumoured to both star and direct, but O’Connor is a safe and credible choice whose career has flourished since Warrior, a film that genuinely surprised critics alike.

Next up for O’Connor is the much troubled Jane Got a Gun in which he took over from Lynne Ramsay (We Need to Talk About Kevin) who dropped out on the first day of filming. The film stars Natalie Portman (Thor: The Dark World), Ewan McGregor (The Impossible) and Warrior’s Joel Edgerton.
