The second season of HBO’s new hit series Westworld has added three new additions to its cast. Gustaf Skarsgård (Vikings) and Fares Fares (Tyrant) have been cast as series regulars for the upcoming season while Betty Gabriel (Good Girls Revolt) has secured a recurring role.
Skarsgård will portray Karl Strand, “a white-collar guy comfortable in the field” while Fares is Antoine Costa, “a tech expert with an objective perspective”. Gabriel’s recurring character is Maling, a woman who “is trying to restore order on the ground”.
The three actors join newcomers Katja Herbers, Louis Herthum, Neil Jackson and Jonathan Tucker to the series. Herbers has been cast as Grace, a seasoned guest of Westworld who has an untimely visit to the park along with Jackson’ Nicholas, “a charming and resourceful man who finds himself in uncharted territory”. Tucker, meanwhile, will play Major Craddock, a military officer. Season One’s Talulah Riley has also been upped from a recurring role to a series regular as well for the new season.
