Zack Snyder says The Flash was originally going to get a new suit at the end of Justice League

June 3, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Although he’s yet to share his thoughts on Justice League, or go into any detail about his departure, director Zack Snyder continues to offer up nuggets of info about the DC blockbuster on his Vero social media account.

He’s previously shared a few images from deleted scenes – see here and here – as well as poking fun at Superman’s CGI moustache removal, and now the filmmaker has also revealed that Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen was originally going to get a new costume at the end of the movie, complete with Wayne Tech upgrades.

Snyder confirmed that was the original plan, but ultimately he decided against it in order to allow the director(s) of The Flash solo movie to put their own spin on the Scarlet Speedster’s costume. He then went on to share a photo of Ezra Miller in the Justice League costume, taken during the very first costume fitting.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League reunites Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope alongside J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard (The Danish Girl) as Mera and Ciaran Hinds (Game of Thrones) as Steppenwolf.
