A few days ago Zack Snyder gave us a glimpse at some of the deleted scenes from his cut of Justice League with a series of black and white photographs, and now the director has shared another, this time featuring Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) standing alongside Superman’s coffin.
Based on the above image, we can assume that the scene we got in the final movie with Barry and Vic digging up Superman’s grave was added as part of Joss Whedon’s changes to the movie. As for why the change, we’ll likely never know. Perhaps Whedon thought it best that only two members of the Justice League commit grave robbery, rather than four..?
