Wil Wheaton cast in Powers season 2

October 30, 2015 by Gary Collinson

IGN is reporting that Star Trek: The Next Generation and The Big Bang Theory’s Wil Wheaton has signed on for a role in the upcoming second season of the PlayStation Network series Powers, where he’ll play an “exciting, mysterious and powerful” new character soon to be introduced to the comic book.

The second season of Powers is currently in production and will adapt the ‘Who Killed Retro Girl?’ storyline from the comic books. Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward return to the cast, while Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs) is another new addition in the role of SuperShock.

Powers season 2 will arrive on PlayStation Network in 2016.
