Marvel announces Star-Lord and Drax voice actors for Guardians of the Galaxy animated series

Following on from the announcement that Kevin Michael Richardson and Trevor Devall will lend their voices to Groot and Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy animated show, Marvel has now revealed two more members of the voice cast for the upcoming Disney XD series.

David Sobolov, who appeared alongside Richardson’s Groot and Devall’s Rocket in the Ultimate Spider-Man episode ‘The Return of the Guardians of the Galaxy’ is set to reprise the role of Drax the Destroyer, while former Boy Meets World star Will Friedle will lend his voice to Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord.

Friedle has himself previously featured in Ultimate Spider-Man, portraying Deadpool, while his other voice work includes Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond, Lion-O in the revamped Thundercats, and Bumblebee in Transformers: Prime.
