Colin Trevorrow to direct sci-fi thriller Intelligent life

March 8, 2015 by Gary Collinson

With Jurassic World set to open its gates this summer, director Colin Trevorrow has lined up his next project and is set to helm the sci-fi thriller Intelligent Life for DreamWorks.

The project has been scripted by Trevorrow and his Safety Not Guaranteed and Jurassic World co-writer Derek Connolly, while Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall will produce.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but The Hollywood Reporter states that Intelligent life has its roots in an earlier project from the duo entitled The Ambassador, which tols the story of a U.N. worker responsible for representing mankind in the even of alien contact.
