Back in May it was reported that ABC had scrapped its plans for a spinoff to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that would centre around the characters of Mockingird (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood).
However, it seems the network has had a change of heart, as Variety has revealed that a pilot order has been placed for Marvel’s Most Wanted, which is descrived as “not a spinoff, per se, but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story.”
Marvel’s Most Wanted becomes the third Marvel project at ABC after Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter, while John Ridley (12 Years a Slave) is also working on an as-yet-unrevealed project.
