Ann-Margret and Matt Dillon join Zach Braff’s Going In Style

August 11, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

The Wrap is reporting that legendary actress Ann-Margret is to return to big-screen after a five-year hiatus in Zach Braff’s upcoming comedy remake, Going In Style.

The actress will play the love interest of Alan Arkin (Little Miss Sunshine), who she previously worked with in 2006’s The Santa Clause 3.

The film is a remake of the 1979 caper starring George Burns and Art Carney, and stars Arkin alongside Oscar winners Morgan Freeman (Now You See Me) and Michael Caine (The Dark Knight) as a group of lifetime friends who plan to rob a bank who stiffed them for their pensions.

In addition, Deadline has reported that Matt Dillon (Crash) has also joined the cast of the film as an FBI agent on the trail of three guys. Braff’s Wish I Was Here co-star Joey King has also joined the cast as Caine’s granddaughter.

Going In Style is due for release on May 6th, 2016.
