New details about Bebop and Rocksteady in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

August 18, 2015 by admin

Warning – minor spoilers below…

We’ve seen some set photos of Gary Anthony Williams and WWE Superstar Sheamus as Bebop and Rocksteady pre-mutation, and it was always assumed they would end up as the rhino and warthog that we know an love from the cartoon.

Well, looks like that is the case.

Former WWE Superstar and current UFC trainee was originally in line to play the role of Rocksteady, before the role went to his former colleague Sheamus. “I just assumed Sheamus is a bigger dude, so they gave it to the big guy,” Punk told the Chicago Tribune. “It makes sense. They were looking for two big, muscly bouncer types. Sheamus fits the role. I think they end up getting mutated half way through. You didn’t hear that from me, though.”

So, looks like we will be getting the classic looks for the characters, though this is hardly surprising news given the concept art that was released last year.
