Gideon Emery and Autumn Withers join Stelio Savante in Avalanche

September 11, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Gideon Emery (Teen Wolf, Daredevil) and Autumn Withers (Any Day) have joined Stelio Savante (Eisenstein In Guanajuato, The Making Of The Mob: New York) in Todd L. Green’s Avalanche.

Avalanche tells the story of a librarian (Savante), his wife (Withers) and her lover (Emery) who after becoming trapped in a house together must navigate the chaotic fallout of their indiscretions.

Emery will be most familiar to Daredevil viewers for his portrayal of Anatoly. He is also known for his recurring role on Teen Wolf as Deucalion and for his role as Teeny in How To Train Your Dragon 2. Withers guest starred in Masters Of Sex and Grey’s Anatomy and will next be seen in the thriller Any Day alongside Sean Bean, Eva Longoria and Kate Walsh.

Savante meanwhile recurs his role on AMC’s The Making Of The Mob: New York and co-stars in Peter Greenaway’s Golden Bear nominated Eisenstein In Guanajuato, which is released in the US through Strand Releasing, and is a supporting lead in Grindstone’s Army Dog to be released by Lionsgate.

Avalanche and its writer-director Green were the recipients of a 2015 Houston Arts Alliance Individual Artist Grant and Green was also awarded Best Director at the 2013 IFQ Festival for Louis Grant, a series he co-created, produced and directed.

The indie project begins production later this fall in Houston, TX.
